Peanut Brittle #dessertrecipe #chocolatecake #cheesecake #cookiessimplerecipe

This simple natively constructed Peanut Brittle is a good old sweet, hard treats made on the stovetop with six basic fixings and cooked peanuts. It's a family most loved during the special seasons however can be appreciated whenever of year!

There's simply something exceptional about good old plans like nut weak. My other most loved good old plans incorporate Grandma's Oatmeal Cake, Baked Apples and Baked Rice Pudding.

Each Christmas season my grandma used to make a couple of clusters of nut fragile. She generally dropped a holder at our home and it endured all season. I can't resist the urge to think about her when I think about this Peanut weak formula.

Nut Brittle is a smooth, level sweets (like toffee), with peanuts in it, that is cooked on the stovetop and poured onto a sheet container to cool. When it cools it's messed up into little individual-size bits of hard treats and keeps going at room temperature for half a month.

My Grandma's good old Peanut Brittle formula is so natural to make on the stovetop with only six straightforward fixings and broiled peanuts.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups salted roasted peanuts
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons soda
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
Instructions
  1. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. Measure out peanuts, butter, baking soda and vanilla and have them ready.
  3. Add sugar, and water to a medium saucepan and stir well. Stir in corn syrup. Cook mixture over medium heat (don’t be tempted to turn the heat up!), stirring occasionally, until it comes to a gentle boil.
  4. Attach your candy thermometer to the edge of the pot, and make sure it is submerged in the liquid, but not touching the bottom of the pot. Cook, stirring occasionally until temperature reaches 250°F (121°C).
  5. Add the peanuts and stir the mixture constantly until the candy thermometer temperature reaches 300 degrees F.
  6. Remove mixture from heat and immediately stir in butter, baking soda and vanilla. The mixture will foam and change texture.
  7. Carefully pour the hot mixture onto the prepared pan and use a knife or spoon to quickly (and carefully!) spread the mixture into an even layer.
  8. Allow to cool completely (at least 30 minute) before breaking apart and eating.
  9. Store the completely cooled peanut brittle in an airtight container.
