Cherry Chocolate Chip Dip #healthyrecipe #dinnerhealthy #ketorecipe #diet #salad

Cherry Chocolate Chip Dip: this sweet and velvety plunge will immediately turn into a family top choice!

My family is completely isolated with regards to maraschino fruits. Half of us love them, the other a large portion of (an inappropriate half), won't contact them. I happen to cherish them, particularly when joined with chocolate!

This velvety plunge is so natural to make, thus extremely yummy! Consider it cheesecake in a bowl. Rather than having an outside on the base, you simply happen to scoop it up with the graham saltine "hull". How fun is that?

I was initially going to make a cherry chocolate cheeseball, however the juice from the fruits made the blend too clingy to even consider rolling together. So I just went with the plunge. In addition to the fact that it was quicker to assemble, yet it is simpler to eat.

I was going to serve it with graham saltine sticks and vanilla wafers, yet no falsehood the store was having a deal on wafers, and they were out of both! So we simply utilized graham wafers, and it was super yummy. Due to it's truly pink shading, it would be simply ideal for Valentine's Day!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tube ready to bake pizza crust (13.8 oz)
  • 1 cup spinach dip
  • 1/2 cup broccoli (chopped small)
  • 1/2 cup diced red peppers
  • 1/2 cup shoestring carrots

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the pizza dough and use a rolling pin to even out the thickness. Use a large heart cookie cutter (mine measured 4″x5″) and cut a heart shape out of the dough.
  3. Place the dough onto a baking sheet. If the shape happens to get wacky, place the cookie cutter back on the baking sheet and use your fingers to re-shape the dough.
  4. Alternatively you can roll the dough onto the parchment paper on the baking sheet and then remove the excess dough rather than having to move the hearts.
  5. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until bottom of crust begins to turn golden. Let cool completely.
  6. Top each heart crust with spinach dip, about 2 tablespoons. Follow with pizza toppings, broccoli, carrots and red pepper.
  7. Makes 6-8 hearts depending on the shape of your cookie cutter.
  8. Note: see blog post for spinach dip recipe. Also, you will need a heart shape cookie cutter ( mine measured 4″x 5″).
